Hello,

1.4.7 can not start the channel scan with my "PCTV Dual Sat Pro PCI 4000i".
Is there any GB-PVR user from Germany how can send me his SCAN.cache from Astra 19.2?

Best Regarts,

I have one of these tuners and have the same problem (but it looks like there are more 28.2 users!!).
I am hoping the imminent new version may work better with this tuner. But if not and you get no reply to your request, then there is a utility http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...ction=view that can be used with other TV applications like DVBDream, ProgDVB and MyTheatre and "borrow" their scanning abilities to create a cache file for GBPVR.

Will this help?

It is manually edited only to look for FTA stuff. I think the free Eurosport is on, as well as TW1 and GoTV (which my system has problems scanning for). I think the part time OE1 Europe is missing though, sorry.

Also the S2 HD transponders aren't there- that's on my upstairs machine. Let me know if you need that.

Might be worth paying up for the HD S2 version of the Nova, then you can get ARTE, ZDF, Das Erste, Servus TV HD and the other one that I have forgotten.....

There are just enough FTA HD channels to make it worthwhile now.

DVB-S2 isn't relay an option because my good old Philips tube will not die :o

I started some auctions with bied-o-matic if I get a cheap Nova S2 then I must kill my tube Wink

You can put HD source over an SD TV....I do it with mine (via S-video).....still looks better than SD because the original is at a higher resolution.
