Example: When viewing the guide around channel 8, be able to enter a enter another channel number (say 53) and have the guide jump to that section. Saves a lot of scrolling.
I beleive this is already possible, type the number, and hit enter. ALso, it must be a channel listed in GBPVR. I was fighting with doing that, trying to change to a PBS channel that I removed from the listings.

Hrm. I'll try when I get home, I swear it didn't work, however I know I wasn't pressing "enter" after, I was assuming it would just jump after a few seconds the same way Live TV does when you enter a channel.
- Visual feedback on the numbers you're entering (like Live TV).
- When entering multiple digits on a remote control, you have to be pretty quick or you get a single digit. On my remote I probably have to hit the second digit within a second. Example, if I don't hit the '9' in 19 quick enough, it jumps to channel 9.
- Enter your channel and it will jump to the selection without pressing Enter (aka OK/Select on a remote). This would give it the same "feel" the user is accustomed to in Live TV mode.
I second this request. The enter button is far from the number keys on the hauppauge remote, so it is annoying to have to press it. This would make it more consistent with LiveTV as smajor says.
Also, it would be nice if you didn't have to know the exact channel number. My satellite receiver guide just places the guide at the closest position to the number you entered. I understand this may not make sense in GBPVR becuase users do not necessarily have channels in numerical order, but it is a nice feature when you can't remember the exact channel numbers.
