no channels found on Fusion 5 Gold

I can not get the channel scan when mapping to find channels on my Fusion 5 Gold cards. I read one post about updating the BDA.INI. Is that what is missing and where would I find the exact name needed? Using the 3.60.01 Fusion windows 2000 drivers

Something is wrong with the device or its drivers, which means the BDA graph never starts, so no data is ever delivered from the device. Are you positive its not being used by some other software in the machine (ie, not running MCE)?

I think so. I have the Fusion apps and helpers turned of with no auto start and restarted. Same with Beyond TV. I have everything turned off. I also checked processes with task manager and I don't see any services running that look like BTV. I could be missing something but I think I've got everything turned off.

I dont really have any suggestions for you. Something about the device is refusing to start.

Would it help to try the 3.5 drivers or uninstall these two apps?

I dont know. I've never used a fusion device myself.

When I set up the BDA capture device for my PCI Fusion Gold and use the check box to limit devices installed I get a list of all Fusion types to include USB.

I just tried the same on another computer with a USB Fusion and only got the USB device listed. Very specific.

In the BDA.INI there is not Gold only though there is a GOLD-T.

I wonder if there is something up with the drivers.

I will go install the earlier drivers.

I uninstalled the two apps and presto. Thanks for your help!

Hopefully the rest of the config will go better for me!
