I'm hooked up to a sat box and have access to 300+ channels. They range from ~50 all the way up to the 900s. When I open the guide, it always starts at the bottom. If I want to see what is on in the 600s, I have to scroll over about 200 channels to get there. How about:
a) Using the remote's numpad to enter a specific channel (ex: 666) and the guide will automatically scroll to that channel, or the next closest one.
b) Having a PgUp/PgDn function. Perhaps tie it to the FFD/RWD buttons. This would scroll the guide by a page at a time.
c) Remember the last channel that the guide was left on and go back to that channel when the guide is reopened.
Any or all of the above would be extremely nice and make the guide much more user friendly.
Perhaps this could be a Plugin for any developers out there.
