Allrighty 3 issues
1) Live preview default - whoops - it used to default to medium - I can change that
2) unmute issue - it doesn't use the filter graph it looks at the actual mixers - did you select the correct mixer (default probably won't work)
3) pause liveTV - I saw that as well, its not the same issue since it worked before, I'll take a look and try to fix it,

I selected the mixer, and it didn´t work. Here is my log, maybe you can see something that I couldn´t.

I'll have to put some more logging in for the mixer bit (gonna take a week or two since am travelling) - does it work if you manually unmute it?

Also 'pause live tv' works but sometimes the pause in on a blank screen without the << = >> (+) (-) buttons showing either. I noticed if I hit play on the remote it works fine, just that original pause doesn't always show the interface.

Just wanted to say that this plugin works great with my Emuzed Angel II dual tuner. I couldn't get both tuners working with the "Direct Recording Plugin".

The way I got this to work was I first set up GBPVR to use the "Direct Recording Plugin" using device #1. I hit LiveTV, watched a few seconds, then stopped. In the GBPVR directory I changed the name of the "lastgraph.grf" to preview1.grf. I then set up GBPVR to use the "Direct Recording Plugin" using device #2. Repeated the above and changed the name of "lastgraph.grf" to preview2.grf. I made a copy of these 2 graphs naming them medium1.grf and medium2.grf. I opened each in their own instance of graphedit and ran them to make sure they would both play at the same time. They did. Now I removed all the filters after the ENCODER filter and inserted the GBPVRwriter filter with a dummy mpg name and connected the encoder out pin to the writer in pin and saved. I then had a live preview graph and a medium profile recording graph for each tuner. I set up capture source #1 to use the "Graph Recorder Plugin", filled in the places on the second tab to use my preview1.grf and medium1.grf. I used the medium1.grf in all the slots except the live preview slot to get around the problem mentioned above that when you timeshift from the live preview graphrecorder switches to the graph in the custom1 slot. I then set up another capture source using the preview2.grf and medium2.grf graphs.

My next step is to go through all these steps again but this time I will change the LiveTV encoding profile in "direct.ini" to match the "HIGH" "LOW" and "CUSTOM1 & 2" profiles to create my "high1.grf" "high2.grf" "low1.grf" "low2.grf" "custom11.grf" "custom12.grf" "custom21.grf" and "custom22.grf".

The reason I have to do all this is because I haven't found a way to program the profiles into the Angel II encoder filter outside of GBPVR. Right clicking on the filter in graphedit doesn't work. If anyone knows how to program it, it would save a ton of time.

I have a new version that makes paused live preview medium instead of custom1 - just need to test and release.

Juicey check this thread as well for more on graphs - posts 13, 33 should be helpful.

Key things to remember - wherever you grab graphedt from remember to register proppage.dll

Yes it works. Maybe it´s something about my "non-english" Windows XP...

It never worked here, but I haven´t tested it too much.

I liked the live preview to custom. Can we have an option to select a different graph just for live tv? Please....

Do you mean non-time shifted preview? Then it uses the preview graph.

If you mean timeshifted preview - sure that's not an issue since it is quality-5, non-preview mode (as odd as that sounds) so the plug in has enough info to make it separate it was 'custom1' before because that was the last else in the if statement. I am off to the Great White North - so as I mentioned it will take till the weekend at least to add that and more logging,

And try registering proppage.dll to get the property page in graphedt you seem to be missing, there are also several graphedt versions around,

Thanks for the info carpeVideo. Just curious how doing this graph stuff helps you use GBPVR? Like how does everything interact in a nutshell?
