I've updated the weather plug-in to take the forecast icons and types through a weather.xml file. This should allow you to add as many icons as you wish for as many forecast types as you wish. The file for the "default" set of icons is attached. I will post the updated plug-in this weekend.
thats great to hear. its a bit late here, so I dont have time to get all wrapped up in testing it out and I am going home for hte weekend, so I will try to give it a shot next week.
does it do day and night icons as well (for current weather) since sunrise/sunset is downloaded?
I am assuming that you can just add different weather types as you wish...

You can add as many weather types as you wish. What the plug-in does is map the text string description of the weather to an icon. Multiple strings can be mapped to the same icon. By default, for example the text strings "am clouds" and "pm clouds" both get mapped to the icon for "cloudy". If you wanted to you could create a new pmcloudy weather type with its own icon and map "pm clouds" to it instead.
yeah, I plan on making a few new icons with clouds or whatever on the left or right of the forecast, maybe switch the skin so the extended forecast is vertical (make it look like the weather on TV :p)
I guess my only request would be for the ability to specify different icons for night time, which would be used only for the current conditions, for at least a few of the icons (clear, partly cloudy, etc.) maybe by adding another icon for night to the weather type, which would be optional.
thanks for doing the work
