can't change channels anymore...

Well I finally got this working under Vista Home Prem and everything was great now all of the sudden out of the blue it will no longer change channels anymore.

I can attach the logs but I am again frustrated.... Now what is wrong?

Does the Hauppauge BlastCfg app control you set top box correctly? Remember GB-PVR asks BlastCfg to change channels, so it has to be configured and working correctly.

Yes I run BlastCFG and it turns the power on and off and it's the same code I've been using for weeks with no problems.

I'm not really sure then. The logs indicate its successfully managing to request a channel change.

Well maybe if I turn off the sat box and leave it off overnight.... maybe the box is being a pain. The DirecTV boxes sometimes get "stuck" and at times need to be reset and it's possible it could help. I just had to reset the main box the other day so maybe that's a hint....

Anyway, I'll try it and see what happens. If not then I'll just unistall GBPVR and reinstall it. I had to do that once too.

I seem to remember some one else commenting about the PVR150 IR Blaster not working for them in Vista, so I suspect there is something wrong somewhere, but its hard to guess where that might be.

Given this seems to be Vista specific, I'm suspecting its related the Hauppauge Vista drivers.

Well so far Vista has not impressed many... just another way to make you buy more... and more and more... I guess BG billions just aren't enough for him.
