Hi,
I have GBPVR setup in a client/server setting. If I try to run GBPVR on the client machine when the server is not running, GBPVR shuts down on the client after the "Initializing..." splash screen. Unless I have misconfigured something, it looks like GBPVR needs the server to be running for the client to run in a client/server setup.
Would it be possible to run GBPVR on the client machine even if its not able to connect to the server? In this scenario, the GBPVR client could disable features (e.g. TV viewing capabilities, etc) that are unavailable, while enabling features that are installed locally on the client (e.g. DVD watching, Plugins like YouTube, Weather plugin, Netradio, etc).
If this feature is already available (i.e. if I have misconfigured something), feel free to move this to the appropriate forum.
Thanks,
-Topper
