Repeatable Error in 5.3

Hi, my MVP resets every time I do the following:

1. Sort by genre
2. Highlight a genre
3. Click yellow button to queue (Music starts playing)
4. Select and queue a second genre
5. Switch to playlist view
6. Click red to randomize

At this point it resets the MVP, every time. Does not always happen when all tracks from one genre are queued on the MVP.

This works fine when done from the GBPVR interface on the computer.

cool, I'll have to try it. Maybe this is my complicated way of implementing an MVP shutdown

Are there any errors in any of the logs??

There are no such thing as flaws, just additional features! =)

Actually, more testing shows that it doesn't matter how I get songs into the playlist, anytime that I hit the random button in the playlist screen, it reboots.

What logs do you need and should I turn in insane logging?

Actually just grab all of them. It all depends on if you use internal logging or gbs logging.

For your repeatable error above, you could just choose your genre then press the red button which will randomise what is currently selected....

But still we'll get the problem sorted.

Do you notice a difference if the playlist is stopped/playing when you hit the random button?

For the random genre play,I was trying to queue three different genres. Everytime that I hit random in playlist mode, I had a track playing.

Here are the logs. I queued one genre at around 2:35PM, the music started playing, I changed to the playlist and hit random, then it looked like it did randomize the tracks but then rebooted the MVP a half a second later.

I'm guessing cos of what ML2 is doing to the playlist, it grabs the currently playing one, then re-orders it, then gives it back to the MVP.

I noticed when putting it in, that for random playlists (just normal ones) it would tend to see only one track, then the rest of the list would be populated later.

I'll look more into it, but not sure what I'll be able to do about it.
