PVR-500MCE

I've been happy with my PVR-350 but am interested in the PVR-500MCE and would like opinions on it.
Questions: it's less expensive and I know it does not come with a remote but will the 350 remote work with it?
Also, you need 2 cables going in (I assume) to use 2 tuners....what's the best type of splitter to use to avoid signal loss?
Finally, any problems with the 500MCE and GB-PVR?

If you mean "if I add the PVR500 along side the PVR350 will, with the PVR350 remote continue to function" - the answer to this is yes. If you mean "can I take the PVR350 out of my machine but continue to use the PVR350 remote" - the answer is no. The PVR500 doesnt come with the connector for the IR sensor.

Sorry, I did mean removing the 350 and replacing with the 500.....so, forgive me for being so stupid (and not doing too much research), what is suggested for a remote?

I dont have very good answer to that question. It designed to work best with the Hauppauge remote.
