Developing on a Non-PVR PC

I've been working on updating the Blue Task skin by doing development work on my Laptop and then transferring the skin files over to my PVR.

The question is, I can't figure out how to get TV listings to be imported when I don't have a tuner card. I tried just setting up a dummy capture source to be able to connect to the zap2it listings, but it won't let me without an actual card.

Is there an easy way to import some TV guide data (and possibly completed recordings data) for testing purposes?

Just set it up exactly the same as your PVR. Its not a problem until it actually goes to record.

Hmm... I can't remember the error that was coming up when I tried to run the "Update EPG" command in the config application. I'll try it again tonight and post more details.

Well, the problem was as it was trying to connect to Zap2it, it told me that my Capture Source was not configured correctly.

So, I deleted the source, and started over. This time it worked. I'm not sure if I mis-typed my Zap2it account information or what, but it seems to be working now.
