I think someone should work on getting an internal renew button within GBPVR to extend the zaps2it subscription. This would cut down on having to log into their website everytime to click the extend button.Smile

I think they might not be happy with people not doing the survey. I know they dont always have one, but when they do, its worth completing - its not too much to ask for free listings.

its probably hard to do because if i wrote the code I would use a session identifier that changes each time you log in.

The only time it gets me is when I know its coming but i know I'm gonna be out of town the week prior and then during the time it expires.

I don't think I've had to fill out a survey the last several times I've extended

Actually what would be good would be if we could fill out the survey though GBPVR or one of the web page plugins...

Other than that I wouldn't feel right side stepping the system because I really appreciate the service. If we didn't have that, most free PVR software would be so much more difficult.

I would gladly pay Zap2It a few dollars a month for better service and no more renewals.

I get a lot of "generic" program descriptions from them. Some programs have no description at all. This may be because I'm in Canada.

For example: For "The Simpsons" I often get a program description of "Homer and Marge raise Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie" for the Sopranos I will get "Tony tries to have a normal family life while running the New Jersey Mob"

that is not Zap2Its fault.
if they do not get an episode description from the network, then they will just put in a generic description.

like south park
if there is a new episode on wednesday, and you check the listings a week ahead, it will be a generic description.
but 1 or 2 days before it shows, an accurate description will be there.

Interesting. I have GBPVR set to take 10 days worth of guide data at a time. Maybe this is causing my problem?

If the description changes will GBPVR update the guide or does it keep whatever it gets first?
