Power Button on Hauppauge Remote

I'm running IR32 with a Hauppage 45 key remote. Is there a way I can program the "Power" (or any other) button to turn on GBPVR?

Currently on XP the Power button on the remote just opens a message window [c:\windows\ehome\eshell.exe - "Application Not Found"]

I missed this thread when I did the search. I thought that it was meant for the MCE Remote Green Button.

I entered the settings into irremote.ini. The Green Button is the only thing that works for the remote i.e. starts up and shutdown. But none of the other buttons work anymore. The Windows task bar flashes briefly each time I press the other buttons so I suspect its not passing onto GBPVR.

download the program "hip" its free and does lots of things i use the start button to start ,strange that ,also use it to start winamp and power dvd control from within gbpvr

Opps sorry i dont know if your remote will work with hip if it doesnt go buy a mce remote they are simple and effective

You can get your Hauppauge remote to do almost anything. Let me know if you're still in need of some help.

I made the following changes to my irremote.ini to get the Greenbutton to work. i.e. turn on and off GBPVR. But now nothing else works. Can you tell me if this is what you use too?

[GB-PVR]
GRNPOWER={alt}{f4}

[Default]
GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe) }{sleep(5000)}{FindWnd(GBPVRWndClass,)}{fgnwnd()}
; starts GBPVR, waits 5 sec and brings it foreground (is already so), change path to your installation path!

I ran the Fix Hauppauge Remote on GBPVR config and it all works again now. My mucking around with the irremote.ini must have broken it somehow.
