recoding sound

Greetings

I am not sure where to post this so here I am.

I am using dvdshrink and videoredo to recode my dvd's to mpeg's.
The problem is that the sound is much lower than I would like. Lower than livetv. Does anyone know of a way with these two tools to increase the volume ?
