GBPVR09912 crashes on live tv & recording

After I installed a newer mortherboard cpu & ram
this problum started when I try live tv & or recording
the system just reboots
(Hardware)
mortherboard Gigabyte GA-K8U
cpu AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Socket 754
ram Kingston 512MB PC3200
pvr card Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 MCE

If it reboots, then its almost certainly either a driver problem (most likely PVR500 or videocard) or some hardware instability (bad memory etc).

After playing musical hardware I believe the PVR500 is
the problem when the pvr500 is in the old motherboard
abit kt7a it works but acts odd system slow gbpvr crashing
but can restart and works that kind of stuff and in
the gigabyte ga-k8u the system just reboots
anyway i need a new pvr card/s so the
question is what cards work best with gbpvr
i was thinking about hauppauge 150 but considering that
the 500 died after only 2 years i don’t know
i need input on this

I dont really have much input to give you. I'd normally just recommend one of these Hauppauge cards. They're usually a pretty safe bet.
