Converting DVR-MS to MPEG

I've been trying to convert from DVR-MS to MPEG using various methods, but without success. I've tried using "Transcode" option from GBPVR menu, DVRMSToolBox, TSConverter. All three start, but never finish. Only part of the file is converted and never completes. I've tried using ffmpeg, but it comes back with an error. Logs attached. The recording is ATSC. Thanks.

You might find a better tool if you record to .ts files and convert to mpg. I haven't found the perfect combination of parameters yet.

VideoRedo does a good job for me of converting (2g file in about 2 mins or less) and also corrects audio/video sync issues at the same time

Thanks.Unfortunately this is pretty common for ATSC users. The Cyberlink mux used for the conversion doesnt seem to like ATSC very much. I'm fairly sure DVRMSToolBox uses a Cyberlink mux, and suffers from this same problem. Using the built-in stuff all you can really do is try different versions of the mux in hopes of finding one that works better. The version of the mux used is always the first Cyberlink one shown in MuxChecker.

there's a modded ffmpeg out there that works pretty well with dvrms, but not te one included with gbpvr...i think it was modded by the dvrmstoolbox guys..
i haven't had any problems converting atsc with it yet. also, try the ati mux, i record directly to mpg with it and it seems to work fine so far..no hiccups..can be found inside the ati video card drivers, just extract and register atidvcr.dll [regsvr32 atidvcr.dll] and select it in config as mux.. is your signal poor? sometimes that leads to dropouts in the files which chokes some converters..
