Format OS. Associate old recordings?

I just fomatted my OS partition and have everything back up and running. (GBPVR actually looks better than it did before. YAY!) But my question now is: Is there a way to associate old recordings (on another partition) with my new install of GBPVR?

Do you have a backup of the old system? If so then there may well be a "recording-dump.xml" in the gbpvr directory. This can be edited to point to the new locations and then imported via the config program.
Other than that there is a program MPEGIMPORT that scans and finds files, creates an xml file that can be imported as above. The snag with this one is that you lose the descriptions. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/MpegImport Martin Have a look at post 7 in this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...#post78105 it may be able to extract info from the metadata, but needs running in each directory. |
