and while playing with decoders, i setup the intervideo codec with vmr9 and checked the "show cc's" in config and yes! it shows closed captions!
even on recordings...so finally a decent closed caption option...
what i dont quite understand is why _only_ the intervideo codec is supported to show/record CC. i built a graph that would overlay CC with my ATI codecs very nicely. since i dont have the intervideo codec i'm just wondering what the difference is? who do i need to provide the graph to so they can enable this option with ATI? or even better where can i download the intervideo codec?
