houndini Wrote:The softdevice is working ok, cpu use is not to bad, but it onley works with the analog input. As soon as I use the DVB-T card, I get on one channel a pic, but it is not moving - cpu usage is prety low then. So to me it seems, that it is not a problem with the HW Power.

What else can I do?

So still need the log? If so, where do I find it?

Based on the contents of your logs, I'd start by trying to disable teletext, which could be a potential cause of only seeing a single frame. If that doesnt help, the next thing I'd suggest would be disabling ffdshow. The goal of these is to remove the following filters identified in your logs.

2007-06-12 19:52:28.296 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:

Hmmm, it could also be your audio decoder. I see its trying to use two at the same time, which is not normal:
Quote:2007-06-12 19:52:28.296 VERBOSE - AC3Filter
2007-06-12 19:52:28.296 VERBOSE - ffdshow Audio Decoder
Try configuring it to use one other than the 'ffdshow Audio Decoder'.

Hi,

I disabled the teletext and I deinstaled the ffdshow - no change.
I include the new log.

You get some of these: "no signal lock (increment count to 1)", which to me would indicate that you have a weak signal. Can you adjust the antenna? If so, have a look at scanChannelsBDA, which is an excellent utility for adjusting the antenna position: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthr...l+strength

Its still using two audio decoders. Try uninstalling AC3Filter.

The gbpvr.exe-native.log indicates its correctly using a single audio decoder. Everything looks pretty much ok now in the logs.

Sorry, I'm not sure then.

Hi,

I installed XP new and .... it works :-) but I do have Problems with the tv mostly when I use timeshift. Mostly with the DVB-T card. I have litle breaks and fadings. The cpu is ok about 60 - 70 %. I tried differnt codecs but it not realy helps. I wonder if it is a good idea to buy a new graphic. I use a gigabyte fx 5200 at the moment cpu is a xp 1800. What you think, would a faster graphic help me?
