Does anyone else have problems with jerky video on the resulting mpgs? I have ripped quite a few of the kids' videos for easy (occasional!) watching. However, on the MVP they all seem to have fairly regular jerking in the video. I don't think it occurs on the PC. It doesn't seem to be network- or disk-related. It's almost like every few seconds a frame is skipped. I was thinking maybe the MVP didn't like the 24fps video, and tried using 30fsp/telecine, but I don't know if that does it, either. I am using the mencoder command line posted earlier. Otherwise the rips are very nice. Anyone else having this problem?

What batch files? Where do I get those? Or am I supposed to create them myself?

jorm Wrote:you do have vlc installed.
C:\Progra~1\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

and you have the batch files in gbpvr\

the buttons invoke the batch files.

they should have been installed with plugin in the gbpvr\ dir..
look for playmvpdvd.bat etc.
those are the ones to edit for your system...make sure the vlc path is correct most of all..
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie

Thanks! Still having a little difficulty though, I'm still pretty new to this so please bare with me. How do I setup gbpvr to use vlc (I've downloaded it but I'm not sure how to access it from gbpvr)?

Thanks again.

It used to work on my pre 1.0.16 version (jeez, how to figure out what the previous version was?), but now the xDVD plugin simply does not show up on the plugins list in the config menu.

I'm trying dropping the xdvd folder containing "settings.xml" and "skin.xml" into different locations I *think* that should, but no dice...so far!

Anybody got a working xDVD working with their mediaMVP on 1.0.16 yet? Wanna share the secret?
