How much success have users had with dual tuner cards (ie multiple tuners one one card)
Lets call this curiosity before I part with the $$

Feel free to post to elaborate on your poll choice.

If you required a bda.ini edit please post.

Getting the Hauppauge PVR-500 working is simple, as long as you double check the capture source settings. Oh, and the second device on the card is the one with the FM radio.

Admittedly, the field caption of "Board Number" is mis-leading. It sort of makes sense if you only have mono-tuner boards, but it's still confusing when you have two mono-tuner boards that are dissimilar (because they both get set to #1).

I had to edit bda.ini to remove a couple of spaces (as detailed by sub somewhere), but my nova-t-500 works really well. The signal strength doesn't seem to be quite as good as my cheap freeview box mind, but that seems to be a common feature of PC DVB cards afaik.

I think wannabepvr is refering to cards that have multiple tuners, rather than multiple cards providing multiple tuners to the system.

Tried a Hauppauge 500 a while back and my PVR Machine wouldn't boot. Tried everything. In the end the headache wasn't worth it to me. I knew that two 150s did work...

Then the guy at the shop said they had a lot of 500s returning. He said it might be a bad lot. I said no thank you
