Recordings bombing out (mpeg)

Hi Im getting this message in logs .. recordings bomb out 3 mins or so into recording.. googled the message and not found

"Found expired lease. Stopping recording"

Rec Logs attached .
This recording yielded 2 files
:file 1 - Grand Designs Waterloo_20070621_18051900.mpg 14640 kb
:file 2 - Grand Designs Waterloo_20070621_18051900-2.mpg 46286 kb

if I record in non-mpeg , they still fail , some interference here.

Just abt got the setup nailed, but rec is pi... me .

I think the recording service stopped getting a signal or receiving the stream from the dvb card. You say "some interference here". Do you mean you get an iffy signal. this could cause the recording to fail.

does it do this on all recordings?

Does it only happen after the pc as woken from standy/hibernate to record or does it also do it if the pc was already awake (from a clean boot) first.

have you installed all the patches from the 99.12 survival guide? - worth doing anyway.

The signal is strong and stays once its found..

Yes all recordings . very short recordings .. then bombs out .. The rec service seems to think its still recording and I mostly have to restart it ..

happens on .. Both clean boots and awakening..

yes I have intalled 2 surv guide patches but not the psoparser.zip yet .. just found it..

dvr-ms can be more forgiving of signal breakup in the dvb stream
