I tried to go down this route. Basically, what they suggest is to manually customize the lineup based on a nearby city (the "nearby" is not a big problem, as something like 85% of canadian population is within 100km or so from the border...).
The thing is that there is a lot of manual work to find all the channels, and worse than that, many local channels are not found at all.
So I dumped it. It's not going to work for us.
