Hey, When i watch a show in livetv mode, and press the record button. It starts recording the show, which is good. But when i hit stop it saves the recorded file in the livetv buffer folder.

How do i make it save it in my recordings or somewhere like that?

You cant sorry. When you record from live tv, the file is left in the live tv folder.

Sub,

Two questions about this.

Will this record the whole file or just from where you hit record?

If you exit out of live TV does it continue to record?

Thanks,
Eric...

It'll basically keep the live tv file that you're currently watching, so the whole thing so far.

No.

No pressing the record button effectively just tells GB-PVR not to ever delete the *current* live tv buffer file.
