I'm newish to GBPVR - used it a couple of years ago then went to MythTV on linux then got fed up with all the linux configuration trouble and eventually bought a hardware PVR.
Now I've moved house and having seen that things have moved on quite a bit I'm looking to start using a Windows based PVR setup again. To my delight I've noticed GBPVR now supports a client / server configuration much like MythTV.
My question is - if I have a network setup, is it possible to have TV cards in several machines and have them all talk to each other in a multiple front/backend kind of way? As far as I can tell from my brief look through GBPVR's config app I can only have one master server and a load of clients..
Can anyone help me clear this up? I'm aiming to have the following setup :
Garage : GBPVR / File server with two TV cards & loads of storage
Living room : Small (silent) client with one TV card that uses the server to pull recordings etc
Bedrooms : Some Hauppauge MVP's
Hopefully the client / server config would allow me to use all three tuners to record / timeshif etc....
