XBMC PVR Client Development

I am interested in learning about XBMC PVR client development. I'm relatively new to XBMC.

Looking for any documentation that is available. Also interested in documentation for Gotham PVR client, if it is available.

Question: is C the only language that I can create a PVR client with?

I would think the PVR Development forum at xbmc.org would be the best place to ask this. The API documentation is reasonably well documented in the source https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master...pvr/addons and since the other client are all open source you can learn from them. Of course the client need a backend and that is were it gets much harder....
