Weather plugin doesn't show up?

Hello!

I am very new to gb-pvr, having migrated over from Media Portal, and am having an issue with the weather plugin. I am running gbpvr 1.0.8 and downloaded the latest beta version of the weather plugin, installed it, made sure it was enabled in the plugins config, as well as did the settings to put my zip code in. According to the plugins config it is set to be listed on the main menu, however when opening gb-pvr weather never shows up! There is no button to click on for it.

Am I doing something wrong?

The latest version for 1.08 only shows up if you run PVRX2, not GBPVR. If you want to use GBPVR as well you will need to install the previous version of weather.

ah okay! I wasn't aware that the updated interface was on that other executable. Call me weird but I actually like the older interface better =S

I downloaded and installed the .97+ version and it shows up on the interface now, just not in the plugins list on config :confused: It works perfectly, just doesn't show up in config. Go figure

It has disappeared now from my menu. I have installed both .97 and .96 version of the plugin, and it doesn't show up on neither the menu or plugin list in config!

I am not running pvrx2, and the dll's are there in the Plugins folder.

According to the gbpvr log it IS doing something:

Also wanted to add that I am deleting the weather dll's before reinstalling.

Nevermind, finally got it working. Just found the thread that said you need a copy of the plugins twice. Once in their own folder, and another in the root plugins directory.

How weird =S
