First let me say this is not a big deal but something I've been curious about. In XP, I can put my system to sleep and it will record and never wake and I've never had a problem. At first, I thought it actually woke to record and went back to sleep but I've watched and I see no activity. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right.
With Vista, sleep is suppose to be different. It is! It wakes and records but does not go back to sleep. Once again, no big deal but the curiosity in me wonders how is this an improvement if MS thinks this is? I've played with my settings and do have my BIOS set for both S1 & S3 and other than this 'challenge' my only other problem is that occassionally, coming out of sleep mode restarts my system.
Anyone have any ideas (even if you don't care about using sleep)?
