Live TV on GB-PVR Fills up my Hard Disk

Why is this?

Does the recorder really need to record for as long as I watch TV?

I thought all it needed was a buffer of a few minutes...

It fills up my Hard Drive with huge livetv.mpg files...

Is there a way to turn this off?

The next release will still record to disk, but introduces a ring buffer for live tv with the live tv file never using more than the maximum 1gb (configurable). This buffer is used for timeshifting, allowing you to pause/rw/ff live tv.
