Windows Mode Height Limitation

I have a 42" LCD tv, I always watch the tv @4:3 mode, i.e. I have to use the windows mode. After 3 months, the tv starting to have burn-in at the edge of the window. So I write a program using "autoit" to move the window 1 pixel a minute from left to right and ves-versa. However, when I try to change the height of the window more than the Desktop screen , so that I can hide the tilte of the window, I failed. It seens like the program limit the height must be less or equal to the height of the desktop screen.
I wish it can change the height of the window limit, as least for 25 pixel

somewhere there's a windowed 'no-frame' mode where the title bar won't show up.. i think it's in config.xml somewhere..
are you using pvrx2? or gbpvr.exe?
gbpvr.exe i believe can do the no-frame bit but not sure about pvrx2..

when you start it up, hit alt-spacebar then down arrow..you'll see the move/resize menu, which you can use to resize the window.

it always kept my last position on restart..
at least the bar won't be so big..

Taking a different approach to your problem, why do you have to use windowed mode?

If you run the app in full screen mode 4:3 videos will simply be pillar-boxed, taking up the center of your screen and black on the sides. If it's not opening like this - maybe it's stretched to fill the screen - simply press F7 to change the aspect ratio. You can set it to pillar-boxed explicitely this way. Maybe that's all you need to do.

I find the auto aspect ratio mode doesn't always work for me so I've assigned the Picture button on my remote to the F7 key so I can change the aspect ratio without hunting for my keyboard.

I am using GBPVR.exe. I tried to change the config.xml.
But I have no clue how to modify it.
Anyway I tried hit alt-spacebar, but the "move" and "resize" are disabled.
However, your rang my bell, I can resize the 'no-frame' window using "autoit".
So it works now with the fullscreen mode.

IN THE END, I still wish it could remove the limit of the height so I can do the zoom function with my program (since fullscreen mode also has the height limit)

I think you need to do some configuring of the windows screen resolution to make it work with your TV. You might need to get hold of powerstrip.

How are you connecting your PC to your TV? What screen resolution / refresh rate do you have your pc set to?

Is screen burn an issue with LCDs??? I thought they were immune.

You shouldn't need to do any complicated pixel nudging / running GBPBVR in windowed mode.

The TV (Vizio 42LCD) and the pc are connected to a UPS device, it also regulate output voltage. Screen resolution:1366x768(the only choice) via a VGA(15-pin analog cable), refresh rate =60(only choice).
I never know LCD get burn, at least not for my pc monitors.
I was so surprised that it actually burnt on my TV. It burn right at the edge of the 4:3 Black area.
