Hey everyone

just wondering if anyone has successfully configured COMSKIP to work 100% or at least 99.999999% with the NZ channels ?

My current configuration is a pain in beep beep beep where sometimes it picks up all of the commercials but other times it will miss one or 2 or half of them ?

cheers

I dont think you'll find anyone claiming 100% or at least 99.999999% success rate.

It works pretty damn well for me, but its probably more like 95%, which is more than a enough to make for a pretty good experience. On the few occasions it gets it wrong, I can easily skip back.

It'll also vary from channel to channel. I do a lot of recordings on TV1/TV2/TV3, and it works particularly well with these channels for me. Other channels may not fare so well.

yeah i mostly record from those channels as well - an example of working 100% is the old latenight movies from TV 2 - and example of it being a beep beep is Target - it got the first commercial ok but anything afterwards was up the shitter

would you might posting a copy of your ini and the version your using so i might have the 95% success rate you enjoy....

thanks

im using 79_98

my recordings and stuff from tonight
- deal or no deal - picked up half of each / most ad breaks
- fair go - same - only picked up some of the 2 or 3 ad breaks but like above if i press play i get shoved into the middle of the break
- movie - posiden from the 5th - missed alot of breaks and again shorter then the standard 3.5 - 4 mins they are in NZ
