Recurring recordings - miss a day? (or 2)

I record a show each day at 7am - which works great, but on the weekends the channel broadcats an omnibus of all of the episodes I ave recorded during the week, at about the same time - meaning it is also scheduled to record.

Can I exclude days from the daily timeslot option when setting up a recording?

I just don't want to have to remember to delete the scheduled recording, or the recording when I do forget.

Sorry, there is nothing built in to help your skip a day or two.

I guess you could setup 5 recurring recordings: 1 for monday, 1 for tuesday etc.

I have a show that occurs M-F. But there is no option to record M-F (that I can find) so I just select every day. On the weekends when the show isn't on, at that time, gbpvr apparently matches the guide with the selected schedule and if that show isn't on at that time, it won't record.

So if the weekend omnibus has a different name, it shouldn't record it should it?

Yeah, unfortunately the omnibus description is only in the show description. I'll either do the 5 x recordings, or remember to delete them.'

When you schedule it through EWA you can select the days you want to record. I have no idea how well that works.
