Hello,

Does having RecycleUSBUIRT set to true in the config mean that GBPVR releases the transmitter after it has started a recording?

I have created some macros which I can run from my remote, but if I have recorded a program, then I have to restart the recording service to enable me to access the UIRT through the commandline app.

This wouldn't be a problem, except when I am still recording something and want to use the commandline app, and can't obviously restart the service.

If this isn't possible, would it be easier for me to do my channel changes myself using the commandline app through parallel processing.bat?

Thanks

I'm not always right

Yeah, thats what I thought - but it doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone confirm that this works? (ie. using a manual UIRT transmission without restarting the recordin service)

Cheers

Maybe it just reinitiates it... but still keeps a firm grip of it... hmm.

The setting causes it to close and reopen the device prior to use (if already open).

Thanks,

So there is no way to have GBPVR release the uirt after it has used it to change channels?
How much time does it take to "regrab" the device for use?

Also, if I was to go down the track of using parallel processing - does parallel processing get called when liveTV is being used and a channel change is requested?

Would it be a better option to use the EXE channel changer? (by making an exe to call my batch file with the params needed)

Thanks

No, not currently.

I'm not really sure. I think its pretty fast.

No, its only called on recordings.

Yes, I think so. Give it a go.
