Is this the main menu buttons? If so, then this isnt really tweakable, then selected button is an extra 9% of the screen wider than a normal button, and an extra 3% of the screen higher.

No for all the other buttons down the left hand side of the menus.

Just an update (if anyone else is interested :p )

By setting the buttonnormal font to a smaller size than the buttonselected font & using DrawRoundedRect it basically grows when you select it, just as I want it to do

I have been trying to do the same, to enlarge the selected text. I somewhat got it to work, but not as optimal as I would like.

This is what I ended up with.

The size attribute acted weird here. As I increased it the text got smaller. Also had to play with the size on the image name and got some unexpected results. I had problems with the text getting cut off either on the end or the bottom. I also tried using "Center" instead of Left but I had problems getting everything to align right and not get text cut off.

Maybe I'm just not understanding how this is supposed to work.

I found I got similar results in other menus if I forgot to increase the "placement name" size for menu item & then set the size for that item to a bigger value than the size set in placement name. This doesn't help for the buttons in the base skin as there isn't any "placement name" values for them. I guess it is something sub has hardcoded in somewhere & we are trying sizes that are two big?
