yea, i tried translating the {} but it wouldn't send anything then..
only worked if i sent the keys 'raw' and processing destroys that..

irremote can send multiple keys at once also...Smile
it's actually very well made with all sorts of advanced options..

You're right, it works with the 32775 value. Wasn't the case with 32771. send2gbpvr.exe can still be very useful for multiple keystrokes.

I tried setting my VOL+ to POST(32775, 175, 0) VOL- to POST(32775, 174, 0) MUTE (32775, 173, 0) but none of them worked. Right now I don't have VOL+ and VOL- set to anything, but they still alter my volume. MUTE is {@793,0,524288} which is my TV's command for mute. Any idea about 173-175 values?

gbpvr\KeyMappings dir, forget which file but it should be obvious.

I'll be updating the Tips & Tricks section of the wiki this weekend to cover HIP and KeyMappings.

here's my irrremote.ini that works without grabbing focus for any of the keys..

first run, had to piece together stuff from other's ini's cuz i couldn't find one that worked all the way...
plus not sure if it can be modified to target only the app without targeting mvp servers..seems to work fine if they're hidden so far..

any suggestions/mods welcome...trying to get a 'final' irremote.ini to post on wiki for focusless remote operation..HIP already works this way so thought a irremote solution would save lots of people headaches...

[i modified the remaining keys that used keystrrokes to use send message commands so all buttons now use send message cmds..]

anyone know how to send cntrl-o with send message commands?
EDIT2: i figured it out...just addd the ctrl modifier and key, eg: 131072 is the cntrl mod. and 79 is 'o' so 131072+79=131151
so: TEXT={findwnd(,GB-PVR)}{SendMsg(32775,131151,0)}

EDIT: oops, had volume backwards..and don't need the in-focus commands cuz this is universal..

none of these keys steal focus, but windows does give focus when starting an active movie window playing, so when you play any video, gbpvr will steal focus no matter how you started it..it's a windows bug, not gbpvr or the remote's fault and can't be helped..
tho you may weasel a way to set focus back to previous app with another key, otherwise it won't leave focus to other apps continuously..playing will give gbpvr focus..

mute is systemwide, all keys are always active..

UPDATE: added SUBCC [#] button as aspect ratio setting...Big Grin

i couldn't find anything that uses it and it's not even mapped by GBPVR..Smile

PVRX2 is not supporting the 32771 messages any more, does anyone have an irremote.ini file, which uses only 32775 messages and works together with pvrx2?

Thanks in advance.
