Can anyone with a Nova-T-500 DVB-T confirm that my "new" card is broken? The symptoms are that both tuners on the the card are detected, first tuner I tried scans and finds all the expected Freeview channels but the second tuner doesn't find anything. Cheating by copying over the scanned channels from the working tuner to the other results in a black screen when I try to watch TV on the second tuner and GB-PVR to suggest that there is no signal. Is my "new" Nova-T-500 broken or am I missing something?
I've put "new" in quotes because I was unfortunate enough to buy the Nova-T-500 when Hauppauge where shipping Nova-TD-500s instead because of component shortages and the box had a sticker on it saying "For Intel PC'S Only!" A quick call to their support help line confirmed that the TD-500 can cause blue-screens-of-death in some AMD based PCs and the card will not work with Linux, but they were willing to replace it with a genuine T-500 since I was going to use it an Athlon PC; the replacement card turned up this morning but it look used (a possible return by some other poor customer?).
