Hi. - I've just upgraded to the latest version (0908) and I'm using a Hauppauge Nova-T PCI card. I'm receiving excellent signal quality from my Tv aerial installation (I'm a rigger) and all Freeview channels work ok when I'm using the latest version of Showshifter DVB. However, when I try and tune in Freeview with GB-PVR, it seems to miss out most of the multiplex frequencies, so I'm only pulling in about 10 channels or so which are mostly radio ones. Does anyone have a solution? - My local transmiter is based at Llanddona, Anglesey, Wales. Thanks.

I had the same problem and had to change the transmitter file by adding 166 to the frequency (you can check from the WinTV2000 channels)

In your gbpvr folder, goto BDA then Dvb-t

should be a list of config files - Llanddona is 0130
rename it so you can revert back if necessary, then if copy&paste or change the 000 to 166 as below.

Hope this helps

[TERTYPE]
1=Wales
2=Llanddona
[DVB]
0=6
1=C67,842166,0,0,8
2=C54,738166,0,0,8
3=C58,770166,0,0,8
4=C61,794166,0,0,8
5=C64,818166,0,0,8
6=C46,674166,0,0,8

Thanks for your reply. Fortunately, I managed to get some more channels tuned in - but there were others still missing, particulary the BBC channels. When I checked the Mux settings in the config file (0130) I realised that channel 67 (mux1) on our local transmitter, had been replaced some time ago to channel 50. Most of the channels on Freeview tuned in ok when I changed the config settings, but it's still going to need some tweeking.

For anyone that's interested in checking if the Mux frequencies for your area in the Uk, then i suggest you have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/tv_transm...igit.shtml

The updated config settings (file 0130) for Llanddona that seems to work for me is :

[TERTYPE]
1=Wales
2=Llanddona
[DVB]
0=6
1=C50,706000,0,0,8
2=C54,738166,0,0,8
3=C58,770166,0,0,8
4=C61,794166,0,0,8
5=C64,818166,0,0,8
6=C46,674000,0,0,8

Hi there,

I see that you are using a Nova-T PCI card which I also have, I would like to use it alongside a PVR-350. What have you chosen as the capture source for the Nova-T because that card is not in the list.

Thanks in advance

Chris
