I got a "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range" error. All I did was run the exe, then put in my zip code of 75056 - I also tried another Dallas zipcode of 75235. Logs attached.

taz Wrote:Just tried to install the latest version (have not installed previous versions). The xml file appears to be complete and correct. However, in GBPVR (and PVRX2), only a handful of the channels have data. Also, some of the channels do not show up at all and they are no longer in order of channel number. I have attached the log files for gbpvr. I tried to attach a zip file of the e xml file generated for zip 68135 Cox Analog but kept getting a database error on the attachment window. Not sure what is happening there. It is just over a 1Mb file..

The problem you were having got fixed in version 1.1.1. I went through your logs and found the log for the problem and matched it to the line in the xml file. It was Sigfried & Roy where the & caused the failure. That has been fixed. Get version 1.1.4 for a lot of improvements (unless by the time you read this a newer version is out; in which case get that).

dennit Wrote:Schedules Direct has some info relating to differences between SD data and DD data. The two items mentioned were a repeat flag and a schedules program id field expanded to 14 characters from 12. Any thoughts on whether YApi2XML be trying to match the original DD data format or the SD format?

Whurlston and I are working on what formats we're matching. YApi2XML will only be able to use the data that the yahoo api has which is currently 12 character episode numbers. However, if yahoo changes there data YApi2XML will not have a problem with that because all it does is that that and use the first two characters to see if its a movie and put a dot before the last four.

Thanks for that information though, it definitely helps make sure there aren't ten different "standards" out there. Whurlston and I are currently looking into how we want to handle the new/repeat/previously-shown stuff.

Wierd. It's working now. I ran version 1.0.0 to see if it had the same problem, and it didn't. then I ran 1.1.4 and it worked!

Well, as an update - the program seems to work fine, but Yahoo apparently doesn't have the listings for Dish Dallas/Ft Worth. This isn't a big shocker, since it hasn't had them from day one. It's always on the drop down provider source, but it always fails to retrieve the listing. I could do Dish USA, but then I don't get local listings.

The new version may have fixed something that you were having problems with, i think the same think wakala was having.

I've added more logging to the new version too because those logs actually didn't tell me enough Smile (thanks for attaching them though, it did tell me how far it got)

I tested the following Analog providers from 75056:
* Time Warner Cable - Dallas-Ft. Worth
* AT&T Home Entertainment Plus - Dallas-Ft. Worth
* Grende Communications - Dallas-Ft. Worth

So I guess get v 1.1.5 from http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/YApi2XML and see if that works.

I got some data for them but it was definitely corrupted. I'm gonna add more anti-corruption checks right now. Took a long time for it to download too.

Version 1.1.6 has another set of anti-corruption checks since when checking your file It just ended in the middle of one of the actors so that made the whole xml file invalid.

It seems like Yahoo isn't making the file you need. This may have something to do with them not having some of the local dish network information. To test further I'm gonna need to know your zip code and provider.

I may have a solution in a week or two. It would multiple lineups where you would get the dish national and then use a local cable person to get the local channels and then just do channel mapping to get it to work. But thats still a week or two away.
