After stuffing round for days, I'm now getting this issue which perhaps someone can explain

After putting the 'no signal patch' on, i go into PVRX2 and live TV. The bar keeps swapping between:
high signal, no strength
no signal, high strength
high signal, high strength

Does this mean there's no signal coming into the card at all for some reason?

While all this is going on, I get no picture or sound.

All a bit strange considering I managed to tune the channels no problems

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

yeah, except that there is a Sky box on the same line going through a passive/powered splitter. Signal says 58 on the Sky diagnostics, BER shows 1xe-07 or whatever. Apparently both more than acceptable.

Ok, logs as requested.

Using an Hauppauge HVR3000 using DVB-S from Optus D1. Using a dual throat LNB
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
1GB DDR RAM

have attached DxDiag.txt if you want more info.

You do seem to be getting some error relating to the diseqc settings, so it might be worth setting it to none, but I'm not sure whether this works with the Sky Dual LNB.

I cant remember enough details to advise further on this from here on holiday without looking at the code.

thanks for the reply Sub, will play with the settings as advised.

Stustunz - Sky has now moved over to horizontal polarity, so receiving Freeview and Sky off the same dish now is a non-event. It should work seamlessly Big Grin
