Program not stored in Database

Hi,

I seem to have developed a problem where a program successfully records, but the details do not get stored in the database, so is dfficult to access. Logs are attached (see 01/09/2007 19:58:00.662 ERROR [5]).

Looking at the log, this seems to be a reoccuring problem, anyone any ideas?

I think you've ended up with a broken bit of data in your RECORDING_SCHEDULE table in the database. The follow error occurs several places in your logs.

01/09/2007 19:58:00.662 VERBOSE [5] RecordingFactory.save()
01/09/2007 19:58:00.662 ERROR [5] Unabled to save ScheduledRecording: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
01/09/2007 19:58:00.662 ERROR [5] at GBPVR.Backend.Common.x396614b3dae3b1da.xc979432fcc5a510a(ScheduledRecording xe41d2b9d98dc1269)

Can you use a tool like SQLiteSpy to dump the contents of this table to a text file for me to look at?

That was what I meant, but unfortunately I cant spot the offending data. Can you zip and email me your database? I'll PM you my email address.

I've fixed the part of the application that didnt like some specific data in your database, but I cant give you a patch since you're running an old version.

You could try running the following sql which might resolve it on your current version, but I've not tested it:

Thanks Sub, I'll give that a try.

I do intend to upgrade soon anyway, and that may well be all the incentive I need (other than the fantastic new interface)
