ATI Wonder 650 PCI-E Card?

Has anyone found the PCI-E version of the 650 for sale, or does anyone know if it is even for sale yet?

A friend has the PCI version, but my system only have 2 PCI-E slots (1 x16 and 1 x1). This card would let me bring the currently dormant system back into use!

On a side note -- anyone know if a PCI-Ex1 card can be put in a PCI-Ex16 slot, and if Windows can function without a graphics card? Is so, I could get two and remote login with a client/server setup. Sweetness.

Yeah, it'd work with GB-PVR. In theory they'd be just the same as the regular PCI version from GB-PVR's perspective.

I have my ATI550 pci-e running in my second SLI PCI-e x16 slot without any issues. I'm not sure if windows can function without a GC but I wouldn't be surprised if it could. It might be confused by the tuner card in that slot but I'd say it has a good chance of working.

I have one. It works fine, set it up like the normal 650 Pro capture source. I have had it my 16x annd 4x slots, and it works in either. Slower PCIe cards can always run in a slot with more channels than the card's rating. You should not really go down (16x card in a 8x or 4x slot, but even this can work sometimes.)

I'm still trying to figure out if QAM is enabled yet. I don't think so. But these are supposed to be retail this month, maybe newer drivers will help.
