I want to copy a file from the gbpvr directory to the folder for the just finished recording using a postprocessing.bat file. I also want to rename the file to mirror the recording name. I know this is simple but I can't get it to work. Here is the postprocessing.bat file I currently have...any ideas? Also, do I need to change any settings to use the postprocessing.bat file or is it automatic as long as the file exists in the gbpvr folder?

this transcodes the file and does no copying, and the script will auto-run as long as it exists.

the edl file is a comskip file.

if you just want to copy the recording do this

Code:
copy %1 "C:\wherever_you_want\%~dpn1.mpg"

I only want to copy and rename the .edl file. I know it's a comskip file, I am trying to trick AutoTranscodeCut into transcoding the .mpg file into a smaller .avi file without deleting the .mpg. AutoTranscodeCut will check my recordings folder every so often for the .edl file and transcode the corresponding .mpg file. Obviously the best solution is to have a real comskip .edl file to get rid of the commercials but I don't have time to tweak that for HDTV right now.
