NO! Channel 70 is the last channel available on Comcast. Why is GBPVR trying to record channel 71, when I tell it to record channel 2 (for example)?

How do I fix this?

Thats exactly as I expected. As I said a few posts back, its because your channel numbers are not correct in the capture source channel list.

OK. How do I make the channel numbers correct in the capture source channel list? Is this something I have to do with Yapi2XML? Does this involve Remapping, as described in the Yapi2xml literature? Please give me some direction.

Thanks.

Its pretty straight forward. Just click on the channel number in the capture source channel list, and type the correct number.

If your xmltv utility had generated the channel numbers in the correct format, then you wouldnt have had to do this. (assuming your dont have channels with other names already using those channel numbers)

Many thanks,

All is back to working as it used to with zap2it. I appreciate your putting up with my nagging questions and occasional lack of mental acuity. Keep up the good work.

Paul.

Last night I discovered that I am having a similar problem: the difference is that I can watch live TV, but the recordings are nothing but snow. This occured after updating to gbpvr 1.0.16 and replacing zap2it with yapi2xml.

The TV guide listings (channels # and labels) for both tuners of the PVR500 are set-up correctly.
