new version released. no new features but a ton of bug fixes. Please let me know if a bug is not fixed (especially the settings problem since it is hard to figure out what makes it happen)

* Made it work on Windows Server 2003
* Fixed error trapping for yahoo server being down
* Fixed error that occurred for select channels if Yahoo returned a “blank” channel
* Fixed bug where randomly would output to the ini file rather than the xml file
* Removed popup error for auto-run if no provider configured
* Fixed bug where not all the channels were output or available under “current settings”

I was having a problem where everything seemed to be working except when I hit the 'update epg' button in the gbpvr config app, I'd only get 5 channels showing up.

I tried deleting all channels, but could not get the channels tab to clear.

The following allowed me to clear the channels, which then allowed all the channels to load using the 'update epg' button:

in the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr folder:

- rename gbpvr.db3 to gbpvr_old.db3
- copy empty.db3 and rename to gbpvr.db3

Everything worked great after that.

Beginning 9/9 I can no longer update the guide. The program trys 5 times but appears to always get a zero length file.

Change what time it updates. Move it like 3 or 4 hours so from 2 or 3 am to 6 or 7am. See if that works.

I have tried many different times and 2 different machines but all on same lan.

I am having precisely the same problem as jukebox. I also tried the YahoXMLTv app, as well as the Yahoo Go TV PVR
software. I got empty guides with both of those as well. So maybe something has changed at Yahoo?

Nothing's changed. There has always been a reliability issue with the Y! data. I's just starting to become more prominent now that more people are using it.

Yep, just keep trying. Some lineups are more reliable than others.
