Yes! It worked very well muting/unmuting while in livetv preview, and also setting the right input for recording.
Thank you CV. You´re great. Ahh, here are the logs in case you wish to know how it did the job. I won´t bother you anymore with that

Added the ability to control the time after a channel change before the graph is started. Defaults to 250 ms.
Improved the code for channel changing for more stability with firewire channel changes. Also if you are a firewire user the new TS playback support should allow a much simpler graph (motorola device -> file writer) with no demuxing/remuxing to get to a program stream. I won't be able to try it for a few days since I am on the road.

Carpe, (or anyone else who my be interested)
This plugin rocks, but I'm having a few problems using my moto stb via firewire. Recording/Playback seems to work fine. Changing channels is fine. Issue is with Live TV, I'm getting picture and no sound and I lose the overlay from GBPVR to control the live viewing. When I play my graph in graphedit it seems to capture fine and I get good pic and sound, but in GBPVR I lose sound and no control overlay. I'm not using graphrecorder to force any audio, I figured it would be done in the graph as it's coming in via firewire. I'm 90% sure that the problem is with my graph, but I'm not sure what to change since it works in the directshow preview. Thoughts? Thanks, -Dave I have attached a screenshot of my current live graph.

Can I get a screen shot of you graphRecorder settings as well?
This is a live preview graph not a live tv (which is timeshifted) graph - for live tv timeshifted use the same graph you do for recording. I recommend timeshifted over live preview since some people encounter time sync issues with live preview.

Thanks for looking!
I'm at the office now, but I can post that when I get home. I can tell you how I think I have it set up. The graph that I sent you is the one that is used in preview. All the other settings including timeshift are the same graph that I'm using for recording... However, I just realized <lightbulb> that perhaps I need to have 3 graphs and I'm missing one for exclusively for timeshift. Of course I'm not sure how I would build a graph that would both render and store video...hmm. Tonight I will post up a screenshot of both of my graphs and a screen shot of how I have graphrecorder configured. Thanks again. -Dave

For the audio problem try selecting a preview mixer and telling it to unmute -
The overlay problem is odd - does it open a separate window from GBPVR? and GBPVR is still running in the background in another window? |
