Working on setting this up.
I have been able to succesfully setup Analogue and QAM digital on a Cable system. It was a little quirky but managed to get there.

Have noticed a couple oddities in the operation. I have setup Yapi2xml and grab one source "Digital" for both Tuners. It seems to tune them fine if I go to watch TV although they do stutter when you Watch Live TV.

I can however Record a program then go bakc and watch it and the playback is nice from Analogue and exceptional from Digital, Truly an HD picture.

One thing I have noticed however, is this. If I program one digital HD channel to record, the Tuners try to use the Analogue tuner to record that show it is just static, and then a second recording will work on the HD digital side.

If I however, set it to record on one of the Lower Analog channels first then setup an HD digital channel, both recordings run and give me exactly what I expect. An analog and an HD digital recording.

Also noticed if I start a digital recording, I can then go back and watch that recording and the playback is fine. So I am guessing that is a setting I need to work out.

So the real question is the priority of the tuners. Do i need to setup up 2 separate sources one for analog and one for digital?

It sounds like you've left these HD digital channels enabled in the analog capture source channel. If you edit the capture source settings, you'll see there is an 'enabled' checkbox that can be unchecked.

I checked and I had left them selected. I changed that but it still tries to record on the Analog channels first.

Unfortunately, I got called away on work and will not be able to work on this box until this weekend.

I am thinking I may need to rebuild the epg database as two separate sources so it can select these properly.

The funny thing I had it working correctly initially. Then I tried to add some additional channels I had found and caused a corruption. So I had to start over from scratch and somehow it isn't working now...

I am sure we will get it figured out. But I will be working via remote as this box is at my kids place...
