Noobie capture card question re analog and DVB-s together

Hi all,

Just wondering is it possible to have say a dvb-s card for some channels and a STB via an analog card (s-video) for the rest?

I am in New Zealand and I want to use the dvb-s for freeview channels and an STB for Skytv channels. The stb would also require the use of a blaster for channel changing.

Yes, you can have two cards in your machine. A DVB-S card for freeview plus an analog card like PVR150 receiving input from your STB.

Thanks, is this fairly easy to configure? i.e. is it fairly easy to have the dvb-s change the freview channel and say an MCE blaster change the STB channel?

Yeah, I think it's pretty easy from the GB-PVR side of things.
