ChannelImage Icon download utility help

I just tried using the utility ChannelIconDownload by jorm. I followed the three steps and it created two directorys:

gbpvr\AllChannelArt
with full length channel image file names

gbpvr\ChannelArt
with just my channel numbers as numeric file names

and I guess it updated the channel.xml file with entries like:

<Channel number="13" name="13 WNOL" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WNOL 38 New Orleans.gif"/>
<Channel number="49" name="49 WPXL" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WPXL 49 New Orleans.gif"/>
<Channel number="2" name="2 WUPL" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WUPL 54 New Orleans.gif"/>
<Channel number="9" name="9 WVUE" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WVUE 8 New Orleans.gif"/>
<Channel number="3" name="3 WWL" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WWL 4 New Orleans.gif"/>
<Channel number="12" name="12 WYES" picstring="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\AllChannelArt\WYES 12 New Orleans.gif"/>

But the default blue skin does not display the images defined in the picstring for these channels. Is there some other configuration needed or is this a bug in GB-PVR? I'm using the latest .908 release.

I haven't tried using the ChannelIconDownload software so I'm not sure exactly how it works, but in the link below sub explains how GBPVR picks up the channel logos.
I just downloaded the logos I needed into the ChannelLogos directory, made sure they were named exactly as they appeared in the channel listing and the next time I opened up the TV Guide all the correct logos were there.

I was trying to figure out how that worked. The tool currently works with xrecord. But I will play with it based the information you provided.
