>I do have one other option, but I'm not sure how it will look and need to try >it and see. I have a PC to TV 2.4 GHz wireless converter. I guess I could >take the PVRX2 output directly from the VGA display and input it to my TV >using the RCA inputs. I've noted though that the video isn't usually very >good.
Tried this, and while it's not great, it might be passable if I could make some adjustments. I'm getting some horizontal distortion (jaggy sideways lines at edges of objects) during fast motion and text ghosts (like a noticeably band to the left and right of show credits) while viewing PVRX2 on my PC display - so that is what gets transmitted to my TV. I seem to notice it more on WinTV2000, but didn't worry about it before because I was using the PVR-350 TV Out (not planning on watching TV on the PC) and the effect is minimal there. Now that I'm trying to use the VGA out to drive a TV, these effects require me to try and fix. Can this be caused by the settings for the software decoder, or is there a preferred driver that minimizes this? What are optimal values to prevent this in PVRX2 and give the best video output to the PC monitor?
Thx!
