I had been running the previous version for almost a month and I just upgraded to 90 last night.....now my live tv is stuttering when it didn't before. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any advice

I'm having the same problem since upgrading. I've noticed, perhaps just conincidence, but it seems to happen more on channels with more action (like sports). Its also really intermittent, and doesnt happen after a consistent amount of time.

P.S. The channel changing speed is so quick now, its great! Thanks Sub!

If you disable the 'live preview mode' setting on the config app, then the livetv should behave as it did in previous releases.

You could also try setting the deinterlacer setting to 'encoder pass-through'.

I just installed the v0908 'cause just like the rest of the folk I lost my guide a few days ago (intermittently.. kinda weird).
Anyways, the new gbpvr albeit cool, has a very interlaced look when I don't switch to timeshift mode (2313 was fine). Its so bad that I can see all the horizontal lines during any motion.
Timeshifted mode looks a lot better however its a bit jerky/choppy. Also, gbpvr runs around 45%cpu and I don't believe the v2313 ran that hot (not very sure though).

Here's my config:
OS: XPpro
CPU: AMD1800+xp
RAM: 750MB
Disk: 100GB dedicated to pause and record (~20%full, defragged)
Software: ffdshow installed (haven't a clue how to use it with gbpvr, other than to switch it on in the config).

I have tried playing with ffdshow, and to see if that render half the screen only option shows any difference, but I can't see any difference whatsoever. Actually I don't know which one of the configs to change.. there three(!Wink in ffdshow. If there is any docs on how gbpvr and ffdshow work together I'd appreciate a link.

Thanks,
Venkman

Try setting the deinterlacer setting to 'encoder pass-through'.

Alternatively if you have FFDShow installed, just set it to deinterlace for you.

Hi Guy's,

I too have upgraded to the new version and am experiencing problems. If I have the server on for a while and go to Live TV
all I get is snow. If I reboot the server and go to Live TV its Ok. One of my recordings was all snow and it was one of the wifes programs. The abuse I had to take. The only reason I upgraded was because I lost my TV Guide. Sub any chance of bringing back 23.13 Please please please please.

I have also tryed the above settings they makes the live TV jerky.
